Lily is four months old and I noticed today that her hair on her head is gray/silver at the roots. Is something wrong with her? I worry about her a lot because at four months she has just reach one pound. I am thinking that is kind of small even for a yorkie?

Grey/silver is a VERY common color for Yorkies. DO NOT BE CONCERNED about that. Many dogs with longer coats change color before they reach adulthood.
If she is only 1 pound, that COULD be a concern...BUT NOT NECESSARILY....
Teacup Yorkies are usually no more than 4-5 lbs at full adult weight.
Since I do not know what kind of Yorkie you have, I cannot honestly deal with the weight issue. If she is eating normally and showing no signs of illness, you could have her stool examined by the vet for worms. Perhaps she has worms and that is causing the weight issue. Or...she could just be small for her breed.
Hope this helps.

It all depends on the kind of yorkie you have (teacup, min or standard). They also come in different colors you can have a silver one. Also she is young and just as people their hair changes colors as they get older.
