I think it's another case of people being ''power crazed''. I was also censored a few times and I said nothing inappropriate, in fact in one instance I was commenting on the criminal acts perpetrated upon homosexual people and they penalized me. I have to wonder how educated and worldly these ''Yahoo Overseers'' are. (I wonder if this will make it in!)

There is nothing wrong with single word answers. A yes or a no is sufficient for many responses. Don't worry about it. 35 is fine. I was penalized because I asked the question, "Would you eat a day old wiener from a 7-11?" lol. Happy New Years!

Well now, I'm not so sure about that. An answer should be an answer & if it's short then so be it.
Now if you do this lots I could see why somebody would pitch a *****. I'm not saying that they should do what they did or not.
I guess they just want you to work for your "2" points.
Might be that you should have said something like---------35, 35, 35 or just 35 or was it 53?
Or you could say; My answer to this is 35.

A one word answer would seem appropriate if that is what is asked. Or a single number, would also be proper.
I am not sure how the rules are made up, but some make little sense.

I need to see the original question to have a real opinion.
However, I suspect that 35 was not a sufficient answer to be meaningful. Would it have killed you to wrap two or three words around the number to make a sentence?
On the other hand, it is possible a moderator overreacted.
That said...we're only talking about a few points here (that aren't really worth anything anyway.) Is it possible you're overreacting?

If the person asks a yes or no question, or a mathmatical question, a one word answer is good enough. I don't think the answer should have been reported.

The originator of that question probably reported it as abuse and said it was a non answer, so the person who wrote the question censored you.

If it was the right answer, it shouldn't have been binned, in my opinion. It never ceases to amaze me to see the amount of abusive nonsense that people never complain about, yet perfectly sensible questions and answers are pointlessly removed.

I don't understand why you were penalised. They have penalised me and I wasn't aware I had done anything wrong yet, they leave all kinds of racist, vulgar crap. I just don't get it.
