There is no specific age, but don't rush it. Don't kiss just to kiss somebody. It should be special.

In my opinion the perfect age for a first kiss is around 17, or 18. I think that while you are still young enough to appreciate a first kiss is the best time. But, being a little older and having had more than one bad relationship, a real first kiss is the one you agonize about...one you want, but are afraid to get. The first time my husband kissed me, I was 28 years old and it was the best kiss in the entire world. We had dated for about six months. It was the best, because we waited and didn't waste each others time.

Generally, I wouldn't recommend kissing until you're both at least 15. By that time, MOST people have the maturity to understand what a kiss means and has developed some communication skills.
Before that, it's pretty much just little kids playing house... there's not any real meaning to it, and you'd look back on it later and think "What on earth was I doing?"

i agree, dont kiss just to kiss, enjoy it with someone special. I kissed for the first time when i was 15 and just because i felt like im already too late, compare with my other friends. so dont rush it, do it, when you feel like it,not because you feel like you should.i think 14 is quite ok,would say 18 is quite unusuaL

Hmm, when you've dated your partner for a while and when you feel ready. Whenever the kiss will feel "right". But it's different for everyone. There's not a "set age" or anything...

Everyone is different.
My 1st one was in kindergarten - just a peck on her cheek.
My next one was in 3rd grade, and the girl brought lipstick in just to kiss me. One kiss and that was it. real quick.
My next one was in 6th grade while walking my "date / girlfriend" home from the movies - againjust a quickie while we were walking.
My next one was 7th grade when a girl that liked me cornered me in a stairwell and she used her toungue and it was a long duration wet messy kiss. She kinds made fun of me 'cuase I wasn't experienced, but she really liked me so it was OK.
Everyone is different - I would say it depends on who you meet and what circumstances you find yourself in.
Have fun whenever it is!
