Are they Calvinists? Are there Evangelical Anglicans? What's going on with the Episcopal Church?

Anglicans are Protestants. The Episcopal church is the Anglican church outside of the Church of England and Scotland and in some ways is still responsible to them although that kind of thing is VERY relaxed compared to their Catholic brothers and sisters.

Each Episcopal church is different, much like the other Christian demoninations. Some are very formal and filled with ritual where others are very free form. There are loads in between those two.

Anglicans probably qualify as Protestants since they allow marriage of Priests, divorce and other things that Roman Catholics don't allow.

The Epsicopalians are the more liberal branch in America and Canada. They have made a woman head of the Church, ordaine active Gay priests and even make them Bishops. In Canada a few churches have married gays.
