When I was in high school I dated a guy named John Doe, we were together for around 2 yrs. I hurt John Doe very badly, then left him for a guy we'll call Tom Doe. I was with Tom Doe for 7 years. Two years ago I left Tom Doe and about 1 year ago I called John Doe. John Doe ended up driving a long way to see me and spent the night with me. It was so cool. But afterwards John Doe wouldn't talk much, he said he didn't know about getting back with me and I finally quit calling him because I thought it was pointless. John Doe was never rude but wouldn't answer phone anymore so I quit calling. I'm still hoping John Doe will one day forgive me and be with me. What do you think will happen eventually? Am I wasting my time?

If John Doe has any brains at he would leave skidmarks trying to get away from you. You don't know what you want. You are wasting his time, you left him before and I believe that you will leave him again. Let it alone before you hurt him againg!!!

You are wasting your time. If you hurt him, that is a way he found to hurt you. Maybe he had troubles forgetting what you did to him and he still knowing you love him decided to hurt you.
It's called Pay Back!!Sorry.

I think you messed things up too bad with John, you shouldn't expect him to just be waiting around for you.

I think that you're just waisting you're time, because if you just gave up on John, then it seemed like he gave up in you, I really think that you need to move on, unless you really like John...or love.....but if it was since highschool, then you really need to move on.

Why don't you travel over to his house and begg for another chance. I think thats the only way you'll get another chace with him. If he's as great as you make he sound...he should be worth it.

i would say that if it was meant to happen, it will.
perhaps its me being a hopeless romantic, but i really do believe that if people are meant to be together it will happen. forcing a situation never works out. it should feel natural and effortless (but relationships are never easy.)
