At 12 you should not be up at this time of the morning asking questions, also at 12 boys do become interesting BUT you should not be thinking of dating yet....Now go to bed & consider the fact you have a long life & plenty of time to date boys in the future when your old enough to understand what they will be asking of you.

Darlin... Believe me, if you were my 12 year old daughter you would be so killed. I have a 13 year old daughter and I seriously hope she doesn't want to start having "bf"s for a couple of years. I know you think it is all "the way of things" and all that. BS. Thinking the way of things will get you in the way of lots of things that are just way more than you can handle. Try to be a child while you still can. Go out and have fun with your friends.

I know that times have changed but a 12 year old should be still playing with dolls and not live ones. If I were this 12 year olds father I would put restrictions on her and chaperone her every move. Sweetie, you are playing with fire and don`t even know it. Give your self time to be a child and grow up to be a nice young lady, not one with a reputation (a bad one at that).

What the heck you gonna do with a bf at age 12? Are you gonna stick together six years and then get married? Or are you gonna start having kids at 12?

If I were you I wouldn't tell my dad, but it really depends on how strict he is. If I were that young and had a bf I think the best thing to do would be to keep it to yourself. I dont think he would react great to it.

It would depend on the situation. If my 12 y.o. had a boyfriend, that's cool. If there was sex or disobedience because of him, there would definitely be hell to pay.
You will have many boyfriends but only 1 dad, remember that.

Suppose it depends on 1 your dad 2 your "BF". If you're 12 it's too young for anything "heavy".

Run while you can. Dads never want to hear that their "little" girl has a boyfriend. not at 12 or 21. It's part of life.

You're 12 years old...you have no business having a boyfriend. You're entirely too young to be in a relationship....have fun...make lots of friends...at your age, you should be enjoying life!!

i remember when i was a teen-ager.when my father found out that i have boyfriend he talked to me in a nice way.i understand his point of view.He ask me what's important to me studies or bf.he said i was too young to involve in a relationship but i have to be very careful not to go beyond the limit.having a boyfriend is not bad.it gives you inspiration but know your function and also your limitation.my father was very considerate and understanding.that's why i love him so much and very proud of him.my parents are very supportive to me.
