My gf and I broke up last summer but have been on / off since. We're still both in love with each other but we've only ever been with each other. I want her back but she wants to sleep with someone else before ... Do I wait for her or move on?

the question you should be asking yourself is "Can i handle it if the girl i love has slept with someone else?" i know i couldn't do it (under your circumstances!!) if she really wants to sleep with someone else before the two of you get back together i don't think she is worth waiting for.. i think it is time for james to move on with his life.

you both need to experience being with other people before any settling down. If you don't you will be forever wondering what it would be like to have fun with someone else. Take it from an expert that wasted enough years doing exactly that!
Good luck and just enjoy yourself, theres plenty of time for commitment.x

You have to create a fear of loss if she's going to buy you. Next time you ask, and she says that crap, do the following.

Stand-up
Say,"I'm sorry to hear that, well, the time we spent together meant a lot to me. I wish you the best."
Then walk off, (don't acknowledge anything she may say).
While she can still see you, she'll try to call you. Pull out your cell phone, and break it in half and throw it in the garbage (get all of the numbers out of it and make sure you have insurance).
Get a new phone number.
Do not call her until she tracks you down and pledges her undying love. Then, make her call you for a while.

She'll go nuts over you.

If she wants to sleep with someone else she doesn't love you. I say move on she's not worth it. An on/off realtionship is not a real relationship.

The simple way of telling yourself is, why would you want to wait for someone that wants to sleep with someone else???? if she wanted you she would be with you not telling you she wants to sleep with someone else first!!! Get a proper woman that wants you and only you!!!!!! Move on mate.....

Don't wait for her. She made it perfectly clear that she wants someone else.... Your life needs to continue on as well.

There's an old saying: If you love something, you'll let it go. If it comes back to you, then it's your's.

If she wants to venture off, then you should too. You certainly may not want to....(I know I certainly didn't when this happened to me) but give it time.....

No do not wait for her tell her that if she wants to experience someone else to buy a vibrator because if she needs to sleep with another man to love you again she is F***ED in the head.

If you truely love her then move on. But always be ready for her to move back into your life. Everthing happens for a reason. If you were met for each other then she would come back to you. If not then you better off moveing on.

Move on James. If she really loved you & wanted to be with you ther'd be no mention of any "others".Love means you've eyes for no-one else.My adorable girl says i mean the world to her as she does to me.If Scarlett Johansson came to the house i'd say sorry love i'm spoken for!Sounds like your realtionship has run it's course - sorry.

Move on and keep on moving! She wants to explore her options (which is entirely fine and her right), but at the same time she wants to keep you dangling and waiting for her until she's done. Not OK, not acceptable.
