i have the same problem...but i like a guy...(i'm no lesbo) but anywho, he knows i like him so it may be different.
Just go up to her locker or if you're in a class with her go up to her and just say hey. and ask her how she's doing. it may seem cheesy, but if i really wanted to talk to a guy i really liked i would be scared to...and coming from a girls perspective-she'd prolly like it if you made the first move so she wouldn't feel so awkward...you know? and you never know she may feel the same way about you. she might like you and be too scared to talk to you to, you get what i'm saying? i hope this helped. good luck to you.
