my sister in laws brother told everybody he thought i was cute but he has a g/f that he is having problems with i dont think he will act on it

probably not...its like if you think a guys cute and its very rare you act on it. guys are the same way, they may think a girl is cute but not really interested in anything more than just making that observation.

There are tons of girls out there that are cute. But that is only part of it, if he has ever talked to you much he may or may not like your personality. If likes that too, he just might act upon it when he gets over his relationship. If you like him, maybe you should try and meet him.
