Actually, there is a lot you can do.
Start by changing your diet. Eat much more fiber and vegetables.
Cleanse yourself of bacteria, parasites, mites and, worms.
You can do this with a large dose of 3 separate herbs taken together. Black Walnut hull, Cloves, Wormwood. I take like 7 - 10 capsules each.
do this a couple of times 2 or 3 days apart.
Make sure you are getting plenty of fiber and are not constipated.
Take vitamin C and echinacea.
Make sure you avoid any mold in your diet, mold greatly inhibits your immune system.
You can learn more things in a book "The Cure for All Diseases" by Dr Hulda Clark. Some of what she says seems really off the wall, but it really seems to work.
You should be able to find the book inexpensively on www.amazon.com.
Also, I get all of my vitamins online through:
http://www.superb-vitamins.com
From all that I have been reading, your intestinal health greatly affects your immune system. So the most import parts of getting healthy are healthy food and lots of fiber and getting the bad bacteria and parasites out.
Once you cleanse your intestines, be sure to repopulate them with good bacteria from yogurts, kefir, Kombuscha or probiotics.
I wish you the best of health and hope you are feeling much better soon!

You get sick easily because your immune system is weak and you don't have an abundance of antibodies built up in your system. Stress can weaken your immune system, seek ways to manage it. Take a good multivitamin and Pau d' Arco, which is a probiotic. You will find Pau d' Arco in any quality health and nutrition store. It boosts your immune system by keeping the body in healthy balance of microorganisms. Regular exercise and a balanced diet is a must also.

There is a supplement called "Z-Mass", which is a part of ZMA Supplements. Whenever I am feeling like I'm about ready to get sick, I take Z-Mass and almost always feel better the next day. The supplement contains Zinc and Magnesium, which help to boost your immune system. Z-Mass is usually used by bodybuilders to increase hormones, so they can gain muscle easier. But, it also helps to give you more energy and gives your immune system a helping hand, too. I found out about this product from my dad, who is a bodybuilder. He began to take Z-Mass for muscle strength, and noticed that it also helps to make you feel better. So I tried it, and it sure did work! It's NOT a stereriod, so it's perfectly safe to take. You can buy it at GNC or any health/fitness store. It's not terribly expensive, either.

Best of luck to you!

Not to sound like I am promoting advertising, but I found this site about 10 years ago and I haven't been sick since I started using their products. herbdoc.com or 1-800-herbdoc will get you a free catalog of herbal products that will tell you how to boost your immune system naturally. Good luck.

I had a crappy immune system until I started taking an antioxidant. I personally use Nuke Protect. Yeah, I know...strange name but it works great!

i've found that at least 500 milligrams of vitamin c daily helps to ward of colds as it is an antioxidant and helps boost immune function. you can't overdose on vitamin c (so i'm told) and the chewable orange flavored ones taste great.

How about Airborne? Supposed to work. And ecineacaea (don't know how to spell it) also works. Not to mention a regular multivitamin, sleep, eat right and exercise.
