I saw my father inlaw kissing another woman at a bar. He did not see me so I waited until they left and got her license plate number. my mother in law is a great woman who makes a very decent living while my father in law works very little (odd jobs). I know I want to tell my mother in law but I would rather do it without her knowing that it was me. What is the best way to tell her...

I dont want to let her know that it was me that saw it as I dont want to embarrass her if she already knows or if she decided not to do anything about it. I just would hate to see her being used or worse (being exposed to diseases). So this is why I would like to remove myself from telling her face to face, but I also dont want her to think that it is a hoax. I have thought about just pretending to be the other woman and sending the note that way...kinda forcing a confrontation...

oooh, ouch! Maybe you should get your husbands input first. This could be a really ugly situation. I would wait it out for a while or perhaps confront your father-in-law first. I would hate to see this end up ruining your marriage because it will ruin your relationship with your in-laws. Be very careful and think this all the way through before you act on it.
-I'm guessing too that this isn't the only time he has been unfaithful, this may be a normal part of his married life. Your mother in law may even have an idea....you never know....

you need to stay out of it as she may not believe you. If you think or are sure you really want to do this then I would say the best way is for you or you anda friend could get some pictures and then somehow ask you mother in law if she happens to know this person and should she ask why then tell her you happened to see you father in law and her(Talking? in a compriseabe way??)

Well first do some investergastion. The if question alway help. maybe you can find out if things are okay. After that you can decide if you need to tell her by letter, phone or in person. If you know this women enough......you should know if you are able to tell her. But first I would had bust my father first let him know that he should be the man that you thought he was.

Don't do anything unless you can prove what you're saying. If you really believe you have to be the one to tell her then do it. Don't forget, chances are if you saw your father in law with another woman it won't be long until someone else catches him or them and might want to spill the beans.

First of all you need to tell your spouse. After the 2 of ya'll have discussed the situation, then ya'll can decide together what to do. The best course of action would probably be to confront your father-in-law about it first. He should be the one to tell her, not you.

I assume by your name that its your husband's parents...sit and talk with him and decide what to do together.
If I was in that situation and it was my wife's parents I would talk to my wife first.
