The curl can frizz and become uncontrollable because of the shorter pieces throughout the lengths of hair. I would not chop up my hair like this if I had your type. I would have it chemically straightened or relaxed at a salon that specializes in your hair type. Or I'd get really good at blowout/flat iron with good product.

Length equals weight, and weight straightens curly hair. Wear it as long as you can, put it up to make it tidy and out of the way when you need to.

I had my hair thinned out recently. The stylist just used a razor scissor all through out it, left it long, but thinned it out. I love the result, however I have millions of split ends because of it. It's great though cause I hardly have to do anything at all and my hair still looks good.

my god! noo, never dont u see what most people are goin through they wish to have hair like u, dont do that! u should thank god that u have this ur actually very lucky, people would die for hair like that, so dont ever do any harm to it, especially thinning it out im a fan of beautiful thick natural hair look at the way it is its better to be thick and healthy, please dont do it, trust me when u get older u'll loose it then u wish that u never did that

It will just get very frizzy...Not the best idea for curly hair...Try a serum like zero frizz or frizz ease...Zero frizz is better...Don't put it on the roots as it may look greasy...Just on the hair...Its great stuff...Tones the hair down a bit

my hair isn't that thick but i wanted it thin too, but i heard it isn't a good idea because it grows back unevenly. the top would be thick and the ends would be thin. :/

you shouldn't do it, not sayin that it won't be cute but having thick hair iss so much better and anyway most men/women find it attractive,

it all depends on the style you are going for and who is doing it. If done incorrectly it'll spring up and get even curlier.
