I really believe that you could call a humane society, preferrably a no kill one, and that they would help you. You might also try a pet rescue society. Other than that--I would hope that you spay your female cat. She will live longer and happier, put on weight and will not have to worry about Tom cats. I have 11 cats. All but 1 are rescues and I am neutering my last Male the second week in February. (I would do it sooner, but I am on social security so I have to budget things in.) Good Luck./
