Help, i am going to a professional to have my private area waxed for the first time. I have no idea on how to prep for the occasion, how to get it waxed, or whether i need to bring a bathing suit bottom, etc....any suggestions?

well I'm a frequent waxer but by grandmother is beautician and does it my recommendation would be take a couple of good pain killers like Excedrin or your favorite at least 15 min prior to the waxing bath and moisturize really good so the hair and soft and ready to be removed and get ready because when they wax they get all up in there so make sure you trust and are comfortable with the person that's doing the wax all of luck and geet ready to enjoy.

Your pants will have to come off anyways,so whats the point.Take a pain killer 20 minutes before you have it done and you can also bring a friend to help you with the pain.It's really worth it though.

First off, trim but not too short, bring your bottoms if you want but it usually isn't needed. Take ibuprofen prior, it helps with swelling and lastly don't tan or spray tan right before. It isn't comfortable but if the waxer is good they will be quick.
