Download Nero software. You can get it either two ways, pay out the nose for it, or get it for free like I did. You will be able to burn any DVD you want. I'll even give you some tips and other free programs. Just IM me on yahoo IM under pfc0924@yahoo.com or AOL IM as pfc0924 . I'll guarantee you success and I'll bet I'll have the right answer.

The first thing you should do is download a program called Gspot.
http://www.free-codecs.com/download/GSpot.htm
Simply drag your avi into this program and it tells you what Codec you need to be able to work with this video.
FFDSHOW also has a nice little codec package as well that you may want to look at.It has Divx Xvid and many others, but try and stay away from all the other big Codec packs, you will have way more than you need.
Really I believe that these 2 programs should sort it out for you.

To download the latest version of Nero for free you can click here http://bit.ly/VMdLDX

In the past, Nero was just software for burning CDs and DVDs, but over time, Nero has evolved into a complete multimedia suite that's both stable and high quality, suitable for both an amateur and semi-professional user.
It's the best choice.

Well
If you are looking for a good dating website you can use BeNaughty
To fix all your video/audio problems you can try K-Lite, a package of codecs. Available for free here [here]
Hope it helps.

that NTI came pre-installed on my laptop but i hate it.

also nero was useless on my new computer not allowin me 2 burn dvd's.

however, my dad bought this really posh hard drive camcorder, and when i installed the cd for it i could burn the pix 2 dvd instead of having 2 record on2 a dvd via the TV

try buying a camcorder (or see if you can get a disc for a jvc everio 20gb hard drive camcorder)
