put some rice in a casserole dish ( 1 cup) and 1 cup of water. Cut up two or three carrots and put them in the dish, add an onion ...you can leave the tail on it if you want to, cut some meat in bite sized pieces ... it's good with veal, beef, pork, lamb, chicken, spice to taste, set the oven for 425° and let it cook for about 20 minutes to a half an hour.
Only one dish to clean and it is great on cold nights.

Nachos.
1) Put chips on pie pan.
2) Cover with shredded cheese.
3) Place under broiler for a couple minutes until cheese is goey good. (watch carefully so not to burn...it happens quickly)
4) Add your choice of toppings. I like warm pinto beans, seasoned chicken (the canned stuff works well if you're in a hurry - just add chili powder, cumin, and cilantro), tomatoes, onions, jalapenos, hot sauce, and lots of sour cream and guacamole for dippin.
5) Sit down with cold beer, turn on game, and chow down.
It doesn't get much better than this for me.

You can make a quick pasta, by slicing paper-thin a clove of garlic, rough chop onions and saute them in olive oil. Then, when onions are translucent you can add canned tomatoes. Season with salt, pepper, basil and oregano. Cook your choice of pasta in salty boiling water as suggested by the package (without placing oil!). Place your cooked noodles into the simmering sauce and sprinkle with parsley.
OR you can make a great grilled sandwich, by toasting your bread, and having a choice of cold cuts, red bell peppers, lettuce, cheese (you can combine your cheeses).
Enjoy!

I reckon it'd be easy to make an omlette and have that with toast. The plus is that you can throw in whatever you find tasty. And its quick and easy.
