I hanged up?

Me and my boyfriend were talking on the phone, and I was kind of upset and didn't really wanna talk about it. It was something about him and I didn't wanna tell him because i thought it was his business. But he wanted me to tell him because he thought i should be concerned and didn't want me to get upset. However, I was like " no" it's ok just forget about it ( it was about him). SO , he kind of got upset and said I was being selfish at the moment. SO i hanged up because he didn't say anything, By the way me and his been together for 4 months and never got mad been a great couple, and we love each other. So what should i do now?

If you hung up on him. You were very rude. You should call and apologize regardless of what made you mad at the time you hanged up on him, that is a totally different subject.

Tell him you have composed yourself and are ready to talk to him if he will accept your apology. That you just were trying not to let the conversation escalate into an arguement, but that hanging up was not the mature thing to do.

Show him some respect. If the shoe was on the other foot, would you want him to walk away or hang up while you were trying to discuss something? You know the answer would be no.

First off it is disrespectful to hang up on someone that you claim to love. Just because you don't want to tell him something doesn't give you the right to hang up on him. Fighting is healthy in a relationship to an extent, but honestly what could be so huge that it is absolutely NONE of your boyfrends business unless you did something that he isn't going to like? There are things that I don't tell my boyfriend, I don't tell him things all of the time but when he knows something is wrong I at least let him know that it isn't about him, give him a general idea and let him know that everything will be alright and that it's not worth starting a fuss over otherwise I could end up feeling worse. Be more careful with the actions that you take in your relationship because it could end up costing you a lot of respect which will end up costing you your relationship.
