I'm not a beer drinker, but I wanted some suggestions for a domestic and a foreign beer to keep around for my dates.

The beer you drink (or keep in your fridge) can say alot about you. For instance if you have a fridge full of knickerboker, you are a bargain hunting coupon clipping type... If you have bud, you are the always in a rush type and didnt have time to stand in front of the cooler to decide.... if you have Heinekin, you were in a fraternity... if you have miller lite... sarority..... If you have a foreign beer that nobody, including you can pronounce youre probably a show-off.... If you have guiness.. well you just have damn good taste.

Always try for a normal brew and then an import. I like Miller Light and mix it up with a Guinness or Hacker Pschorr. I have had much luck keeping all three of these on hand.

Trappist beers and your date will want to marry you.
A few Sam Adams varieties will cover most situations.
Any lite beer for the guys you want to leave without so much as a goodnight kiss, but this runs the risk of some of those idiots actually LIKING it!?!?

What's domestic and what is foreign for you???? (you do not say in which country you live!). Whatever, you should have one national brand lager (e.g.: Bud in the USA, LaBatt in Canada, Boddington in the U.K., etc.), one international brand lager (Heineken, Beck's, Stella Artois, Kroenenbourg, etc.) and one fine flavourful ale from a micro-brewery located near you.

If they like crap, then get Bud Light. If they actaully like beer, get like Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, or Red Hook ESB or something. If you're not sure, Samuel Adams usually works for light and dark beer drinkers.
