If I remember correctly most of the programs that came with my computer were actually installers which installed the program and then walked you through registration. Look in "my computer" and the programs folder and see if there is an installer for each program and save them. Without an installer there may not be much you can do. Also check the backup disks and see if the programs are on there.

Dude,

You have to give more info than that. Otherwise RTFM! (Read The Frigg'n Manual.

Generally, you do not back up a program, you back up the data that it contains. Most legit programs come with their own data backup that you can read about in the Manual. They usually dump the data into 1 or 2 directories that you can copy in a safe place for "backup"

If it is a Windows program, it is backed up by default, and can be reinstalled at any time by going to the control panel, clicking "Add/Remove Programs", and choosing windows components.

Windows also provides a way to restore the system after harmful changes have been made. You can create restore points at critical times, such as before installing new software or making other changes. When you run into problems, you can go to system restore through the control panel to go back to one of those restore points.

You can get to system restore by clicking start, control panel, double clicking the icon for performance and maintenence, then clicking the system restore link in the left-hand panel.

what program are you talking about? If you bought a PC from dell/gateway/etc, it comes with backup cd's that should have em on there. If it's already installed, like um...Microsoft Office and you don't have the cd, you can't back it up.
