Yes girl ! I am from France,
well you'll say,
un peu de silence s'il vous plait.
Du calme s'il vous plait
Taisez-vous

fermer la bouche et ta geule is not polite at all. so if you are a teacher don't use these words.

I'm not from France, but I know how to shut people up in French.

Reasonably politely: Tais-toi! (tay-twa) or to more than one person: Taisez-vous! (tay-zay-voo)

Not at all politely: Ferme-la! or Ta guelle! (hard to explain how to pronounce "guelle" and I may be spelling it wrong but it's a bit like "gull" with a longer vowel sound and just a hint of the l.)

Bonne chance!

"fermez la bouche" -- shut your mouth
"tais-toi" -- shut up
"ferme ta geule" -- shut your trap (but this one is sort of vulgar, maybe not school appropriate)

Or simply tell your teacher you are sick and tired about not being able to learn b/c they won't shut up. I teach French, so I am very aware of foreign language classrooms and what can happen.

There are lots of way to say it :
If you say to one person : la ferme / ferme-la / ta gueule ( agressive) / ferme ta gueule ( more agressive ) / tais-toi / ferme ton clapet

to a group of person : la ferme / fermez-la / vos gueules / fermez vos gueules / vos gueules les mouettes, la mer est basse ( this one is a bit poetic ) / taisez-vous

There are some others but with these one you should have enough

ferme le bouche, I'm not sure on the spelling but I'm pretty sure it means close your mouth

Taisez-vous! (nice)
Ta geule! (not nice)
Silence, s’il vous plaît! (very nice, but not helpful)
Silence!!!! (only helpful for 3 seconds if shouted in really loud voice)
(otherwise, just as helpless as you are!!!)

You are welcome
