The subs are VOLFENHAG dual coil. I thinking about putting them in a ported box cuz they are going in a van. Impedance is from 2-8 ohms.

Get an amp that's 1000 watts RMS @ 4 ohms and wire the subs like so: http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j230/sparky3489/PARALLEL-SERIES.jpg

This wiring method will give the 4 ohms the amp is looking for.

check the rms to see at what frequency they function at and also check the graphics it will Tell you what kind of opening are needed in your box (if you don't they wont function properly,as for the amp you mach it with what the speakers can handle you will only need an amp that can produce 500 per channel unless you bridge them just make sure the specs state the stability of the amp and you good name brands are not always need

purchase a mono amplifier rated for one thousand rms at 4 ohm and cord your subs so this is at 4 ohms whilst installation the amp and you first turn it on have the amp benefit became down and crank your stereo and slowly boost the convenience until you hear a damn distortion then turn the convenience down slightly with a view to not harm the subs id

Then you should buy an amp that has the same amount of rms power as your speakers!

that will give you the power you need if you run each sub 8 ohm than bridge the amp.now i know it won't match your subs RMS and peak perfect buy i don't think you will need or want any more power than that.
