My throat really hurts and I've been coughing up mucus and spit.I've tried taking Nyquil,and this fever med(yes,it was a flu)and my fever went down.Although it went down and my body was'nt numb anymore....the throat infection was still there.What should I do?

You may need antibiotics to clear out the infection.
Look at the back of your throat or have someone else look with a flashlight to see if you have blisters or yellow patches there and you will know it is strep. Strep can be very dangerous so see a doctor asap

Okay first check in the back of your throat...and see if you have big white bumps forming...if so this means most likely you have strep throat! You need to call the doctor right away because even if you don't have strep...you have something else.

Get to the doctor have a strep test done. Right now strep is going around strep is very contagious.

Go to the doctor sound like your virus lowered your imune system and you my now have a secondary infection like Strep
