Yesterday, I went to the supermarket, and there was NO eggnog at all; it seems that what had not been sold was returned, or poured out, or secretly transported by night to Canada. There was not a carton, not a drop to be found!

It used to be that we could depend on finding eggnog through the first week of New Year's, or at least until New Year's Eve.

Is this a regional problem? Is eggnog sold in places other than Atlanta? Am I the sole eggnog fan who is vexed by the general unavailability of eggnog?

No shortage in Michigan, but if there were you could have mine, no problem, I don't care for eggnog, not even with spiced rum in it!! : )

There was a shortage in New Jersey - state-wide, it seems. Neither supermarkets nor Wal*Mart nor WaWa. No idea why.
