I need help from an experienced person with knowledge. I restored pc to original state, now my pc has a bunch of files on it probably making it go slow... what can i do to get rid of all these files, what scans can i do ? any help would be appreciated please! if someone wants to help me more, message me on this website!

If you go to Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> Disk Defragmentor and run that, it will optimize your HDD a lot. This process can take quite a while though so be prepared to walk away from your PC for a few hours.

Since you restored pc to original configuration, any other files on your hard drive should only be occupying space. They should not be functioning.
If you do not want some of the files, then you can look with explorer and delete the ones you do not want.
Once you have gotten rid of all the ones you don't want, then do a chkdsk by clicking on start and entering chkdsk/f. It may say that you must run it once the pc restarts.
After that has been completed, you can do a defrag.
Now you should be in good shape.

add and rove programs take out the extra software that comes with the system you wont use. 2. click start then run type msconfig then hit enter go to the strtup tab now click disable all. now apply reboot and click dont show this message again and that will speed it up alot hope this helps.
