Okay. SO I'm 17 and he's 16....about to turn 17. HIs parent's are super strict about him having a girlfriend....mostly because he's really into sports and they want him to stay focused..etc. They say that I'm "Hunting" for a boyfriend and that he can be potential "Prey" .... They don't even know me! What is this about? How should I handle this?

His parents aren't Psycho.........they are just watching out for their son. Unfortunately, girls these days seem to "NEED" to have a boyfriend to feel complete. Maybe for some reason his parents are getting this vibe from you. Step back, respect their views, try to look at it from a mature perspective. Maybe even
talk to them and ask them how you can gain their trust because
you really like their son & you respect their viewpoint.

At this age they should let him decide what's best for himself...they want him to focus on sports which is fine but having a relationship is important too at this age...in any event, play it cool. They don't want you dating him, don't do anything to prove them right. If he likes you enough then hopefully he'll get through to his parents and they'll give you a chance.

I think his parents are being completly ridiculous but if you reallu like him youll have to deal with it. You should sit down with his parents and talk the issue out im sure it can be resolved. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

they just want their son to succeed in something and not be another statistic ie; girlfriend, babys.
just show them that what concerns them also concerns you. encourage him to stay focused in his sports and what not and they'll thank you for it.
