im 4 feet and 9 inches and im a jr my friends call me a dwarf and other people say a dwarf is a person is disformed and im perfectly fine except hwo short i am and my doctor satys im not gettin any taller can u help me

Unless you have been diagnosed as having dwarfism then you are like me just short. But dont worry about it short people may have to have help getting stuff off a tall shelf but when its raining we fit into place that tall people cant. Look at the positive rather than the negative, and tell you frinds that dynamite and diamonds both come in small packages. :)

what kind of doctor do u have?
ppl don't stop growing until roughly about age 21
and your still young and into sports
either u ignore your friends or u tell they straight out that u don't like to be called a dwarf

You are just short, not a dwarf.
A dwarf would be Verne Troyer (mini me in the Austin Powers movies).
You are not a dwarf. And your friends aren't your friends if they keep being malicious like that.

Dwarf is a derogatory name used for little people. Your short in stature, that all. Thank God you are not deformed. Your probably adorable. I wouldn't worry soooo much about it.

Are your parents short? Then it's normal.
Go with what your doctor says. He knows better than your high school friends. At least I would think so.

Afraid not- at your age, you're not likely to get any taller. Your doctor's right about that.
As for your- I use the term loosely- friends- they need to get a clue, get a life, and get some respect for themselves and those who are their friends. Though you might try telling them that it bothers you.
