How does anyone know that this all happened as Jesus was alone and there was no witnesses, did he come back and say, "so guess who i met in the desert"?

Jesus' 40 days in the desert are to relate to the Israelites 40 years of wandering in the desert. These years were described as years of failure and testing for the people of Israel, Jesus redeems this old Covenant failure by the nation of Israel.
Jesus answers the devil from the Book of Deuteronomy which describes again the Israelites apostasy in the desert. The devil than tries to use the Scripture to trick Jesus, (ie Adam) but fails miserably and Jesus quickly rebukes the devil's challenge of His Fathers fidelity. The point is that Scripture is no more authoritative than any other word if it is wrongly interpreted. Making the case for the Authoritative Church Jesus will establish on earth.
Christians should ask the question by whose Authority is the Bible interpreted?

He,Jesus had to defeat satan as a human,He was God in the flesh,The battle ground Earth,Should Jesus used His power as God,This would be of no help to Man.Once in awhile this concealed power came out, such as the time the Romans came to arrest Him in the Garden,The Guard ask Jesus, are you Him?
Jesus said yes--the Romans rolled over backwards,That is like
Jet Aircraft exhaust,I assure you it will roll everything behind it.
The answer to your question,is yes, that is the way to win a battle with the Devil

yes i agree to you.in Mattew 4:4 stated that "man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.and in Ephesians 6:10 stated that we have to put on the full armor of God,so that when the day of evil comes we may be able to stand our ground. We have to stand firm then with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.take up the shield of faith and the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God.Christians are like soldiers ready to go for the battle.we have to prepare everything that we need to win the battle.we can't go to war empty-handed.We need to pray without ceasing.God bless!

Of course.
Unfortunately, many so-called Christians use the Bible as an offensive weapon, proclaiming anyone who disagrees with them the devil. This is far more sinful.
Rather than falling into this trap, a true Christian will look for the positive messages in the Bible, such as the Sermon on the Mount and remembering to "love thy neighbor as thyself." This is Jesus's message, and Christians would be wise to follow it.

No, we're not fighting them or helping them just keeping ourselves ready and waiting for the second coming of Jesus. We are supposed to use this time on earth(Terra) to get to Know, Love, and belive in God. Plus the devil is just an angel that doesn't like God.

jesus quotes the greek bible, or Septuagint. this was unusual for a jew in jesus' day, if not downright impossible! and, it contains physically impossible situations. there never has been a mountain high enough to see "all the kingdoms of the world!"
finally, who witnessed the verbal interactions between jesus and satan? one would have to FIRST assume that he was infallable and would never lie in order to take on 2nd hand account that this happened, and these things were spoken. but this triumph over temptation is part of how we decide that jesus IS infallable. the great circle is once again formed.
