We started talking before I went to basic and have continued to talk for a few months now. We have strong feelings for each other and plan on getting together when I get back home 3 months from now. This will be only the second time we have seen each other. How long should we wait before getting connected on a physical level?

It's not a matter of time just wait until you feel comforable around him and you think it's the right time. I know it sounds funny but trust me it's worth it if you dont just go for it because it's been 4 months or whatever. Good Luck and be patient you'll know!!

Girl you will feel it when the time is right!! There is no set time table for when to and when not to have a physical relationship between two adults!! If and when both are ready then let it happen naturally!!! Oh and good luck in basic!!
