Money. Older men have more money.

Not so much. Same reason younger men like older woman. They want someone more mature than they are, and more experienced with not just sex, but life experience too, like work, and how to work a relationship. Younger adults who aren't so sure if they can handle a relationship could learn from someone older. I've never dated anyone older, but had a one night stand with that person. Still he is a very wise man, and gave me words of encouragement when getting into a relationship with men my age or slightly older, so it's not as bad as you think.

Because older men treat you better. I can't date people my own age, don't know why, every man i have been with has been over 25. My current bf is 26, im nearly 20. I think your probably the sad one and obviously don't have much experience when it comes to relationships!

Its that an older man knows more of what he wants and tend to keep his goals more organized. This is were money comes in...They are more serious and business oriented.

Women don't have to deal with some of the non sense of what younger men do and get into...

You're the sad B@stard. Just 'caus you can't get a girl, don't slag off the silver tops who can.

I have been happily married to woman half my age for sixteen years, ( she was eighteen and I was forty-eight when we met) we have a wonderful son and are a very strong family group. It does work.

My wife says that I am gentler and more considerate than men her own age. She tells me that I am what every girl needs. I have the wisdom of experience and advise her if I think she is making a mistake of some sort. I have a wealth of stories about my mistakes to make her laugh, I am more thoughtful and last longer than younger men in bed and I know more positions and techniques than them.

I myself am amazed that she loves me and I am very grateful for her giving me that love. So I am thoughtful in everything I do that concerns her.

So just because someone older than you has taken your girlfriend, there is no need to spit your dummy out of the pram.

not really women are much more mature than men and some times they have to go out with older guy's to get treated like a women should be ,a man knows how to treat a lady , a younger man want to feed his ego by telling ever body who he has slept with ,,and they have a lot to learn ,,try with a older man your self and mabe you'll change your mind

Some times we just get on with older people. I've been out with people 25+ years older than me.
And my best freind is 22 years older than me - why is that sad?
We get on well, and fit together well. What is wrong with that?

Sad for you because you are young?

I like older men because they don't play games, they know what they want and they are experienced beyond belief! Go older guys!!

I'm dating a guy who is older than me, the reason being because he is kind, caring and he treats me with respect. His age has nothing to do with it, especially since when he asked me out I didn't know how old he was. Hope that helps.

A variety of reasons im sure...."daddy" complex for one, not enough attention from dad , or dad wasnt around.....
Perceived security... older guy might be more stable, fincacially secure.
Just more mature... already gone through the "frat boy" phase in life and won't play as many games.
Sexual experience.... again, perceived knowledge and skills in the bedroom could be a factor...
