Would you want a a guy that kisses upto you all the time, listens to what you say or an actual man, a guy that stands up to you and has the balls to criticise and humor you and be a man?

Hmmmm. I'd like a guy to stand up to me, to be a man, humor me. But also, who wants a jerk that never listens? Men that listen are wonderful. I don't mean that he has to agree with everything i say and kiss up to me all the time. but just a nice human being is a good start, someone that is themselves and how they would like to be treated. With respect, but also able to have a laugh and stand up to a person too.

Neither. Being a couple means that you are equal in your life together. You nor your mate should be bossed around, but should not denominate either. You need to be YOU and that's all I can say.

definitly someone who listens to me and understands me...definitly have good sence of humor...and knows when to back off...but who can also protect me
