I have checked some 'free credit report' websites and they all want some type of payment. Please help.

Go to FTC.gov. They have a lot of good info and a link to the real free credit report web site.

the other 2 answers are right.... there is another one i cant think of.....

but you can get your credit report from 3 places on one website...

1 from transunion
1 from experian
and one from another

search the web you might find more as long as it doesnt ask you for credit card info you should be fine....make sure its a secure website first

THe only 100% free, government sanctiioned site. But you cant get your SCORES free anywhere, unless you consider a free trial thing free.
