Hi Britney!!!

I think your child would be Catholic if you DID smoke and drink. It looks to me like most of the protestant Christians in America are strict and inflexible. I live in a country where most of the people are Catholic, and most of them smoke and drink. I wish I could give you a source for this. Well, maybe I can. Ah, here it is. I'll type it below.

That makes no sense. Why would your temperance affect your child's religion? And some Protestant churches are stricter about alcohol that the Catholic Church.

A baby is born without the belief in a god (or anything except love really). We're all born as agnostic atheists. Your question is irrelevant.

First lets get thing streight, that baby is GOD'S baby NOT yours, He gave you that baby to raise "FOR HIM" and you will be heald accountable for how that baby is raised, smoking kills, and "thou shalt NOT [murder is the better word] kill" is one of the ten commandments, If you are honest looking for a good Christ centered church try a Seventh Day Adventist Church in your area, also free bible lessons on line www.itiswritten.com God bless you.
