Should I use the cell phone provided for me by my boyfriend?

He bought 5 cell phones for his family about 2 yrs ago at the same time I bought my own cell phone. He did not include me in the 5 phones contract he bought for his adult kids and their spouses. I started getting prank calls (10 a day) on my cell phone, so after he renewed his contract, he took a cell phone from his son in law and gave it to me because he said the son in law could not afford it. I have mixed feelings about accepting a cell phone from him. I am not sure why he feels he needs to provide cellular service to his adult kids and pay that enormous bill every month. I was angry at him for not including me in the contract 2 years ago since we had been a couple for 5 yrs. I think adult, married kids should be able to pay for their own phones as I was, but now that he is offering me a phone, I think its free, so why not. Should I accept and do you think he has a motive for this sudden rush of generosity? I doubt it has anything to do with the prank caller I have had.

I asked him how much I should pay for the phone bill every month, and he told me not to worry about it.

I am thinking about keeping the phone in storage, just so he cant get it back and he cannot give it to his adult kids. They are such mooches.

He spends so much money on 1 daughter who is 26 yrs old it makes me really suspicious. She is married and has 2 kids.

he probably figured out (a little too late mind you,) that you were a little pissed off by the whole lack of consideration 2 years ago.
Why he feels he needs to pay that huge bill every month is beyond me, but that's his problem.

Don't except it, you said so yourself that an adult should be responsible for there own stuff.
