During the winter months I am hardly ever outside. Between school and work I get rather pasty. I was wondering is it weird for a guy to go to a tanning bed? I don't think I would want like a membership, just like go once a week.
Is it cheaper to buy a month worth and still only go one day? Can you even buy a single use?

I was a tanning consultant for a few years. It is not weird. We had several men tan all the time. It is just like it is for women, you tan, you feel revived - like you have been on vacation !!! Helps to keep your self esteem high, makes you feel good about yourself. I know several men that tan and continue to tan to this day. If it makes you feel good, then do it. There is no shame in it. Others will be jealous of your nice tan !

Not at all! 50% of the customers at a salon I was employed at were men---of all ages! Usually salons sell one session, but it is often cheaper to buy some type of package. Some salons will sell a package of sessions that you can use when you choose. For example, 10 sessions that can be spread out over several months time. Check around at different salons for prices and what they offer as far as packages go. As someone else said, listen to the salon staff when they recommend times in the beds. Most of the time they are certified and know what they are talking about. Even if it is not required in your state---wear protective eyewear. People are afraid of racoon eyes, but that usually doesn't happen. And it would be far worse to end up with cataracs or night vision loss at age 30.

It is not as common, but alot of guys do it... I used to work at a tanning salon and honestly listen to what they tell you, if they say tan for 10 min- then go for that unless you get hot sooner. Going twice a week should be enough to keep your skin from getting pasty but its not enough to actually give you a golden tan- steer clear of bronzers if you are going for the natural look. just make sure you dont go for long- less than 10 min to start with but honestly the other question, you'd have to ask the tanning salon of your choice... most will sell you a few visits like a package of 10 or 20. if you pay for each visit you will pay at least twice as much as if you buy a package. Do not sign a contract of unlimited each month unless its a monthly payment you can make paying cash. I've heard horror stories of friends havin to close a checking account because certain tanning places wouldnt stop billing them long after they quit going.

The reason for going to a tanning bed other than for tanning is what would make it weird. Tan on. Just don't over do it and become a lobster. Brown that bottom, unless its already brown or black. What ever your nationality.

I think there should not be a status on this subject, wheather your metro or not or whatever. Going to the tanning bed is perfectly fine i go because my family has a history of really light skin,so its all you man i would go twice or 3 times a week depending on your skin type. I wouldent let any of these stuck up people tell you diffrent.

No its not weird for men to go ta a tanning salon. You could buy single uses. Go to a tanning salon and if you have any question about prices and membership which one is the cheapest ask them they can help you. GO TANNING MAN. ENJOY.

all because you like a tan body isn't bad and i don't know anything bout tanning salons but a tan guy is better than a white one that burns the eyes..

i own a tanning salon. it is not weird. 30% of my customers are men. yes you can buy one tan.

well its not really weird tioo me alot of my friends that r guys go tannin with me somtimes or by themselves it doesnt matter
