Would Torontonians welcome the idea of having the UN headquarters in Toronto or any part of Canada?
i mean, its the least thing Canada can obtain after helping establishing the United Nations, participating in mostly all Peace Missions and not being a Security Council Permanent Seat Member.
and do you think Canada should acquire Permanent Seat Status?

i think it would look nice in the downtown core of Toronto if teh UN building was there.
teh city would be considered as teh capital fo teh world.

No to all questions. It would be nice and playing a more important role in world affairs could be good for us and for the world, however, I have to say no. My reason is that as the only country in the Americas that the US hasn't invaded or destabilized with a military coup or the CIA, it's important that we stay out of their thoughts. I really don't want us to draw the US's attention to ourselves, let them go on thinking that we a large boring ice filled land and they wont invade.

Leave it in the US, why have it moved here and have the Americans still pay not attention to the UN's advice, let them be embarrassed on their own turf.

well you could say it should be moved to London as we are part of the UN and the EU, it would be better if it wasnt in Amercia, but the Americans will never let the hq ove if they can help theme
