I don't think anyone wants you to be concerned. Whether religious or not, we all can make our own decisions here...well most of us.
But...I think if there is concern about a religion that is at least 2000 years old it would be because no one has been able to destroy it, just as I see no one destroying it here.
I see, people consulting their Bibles or a Bible for information and reinforcement of their beliefs or turning to each other and sharing those things.
I see the atheists plunging into the Bibles as well to try and contridict the Christians (I will keep it Christian and Atheist on this question), using scripture that THEY themselves profess not to believe to support atheist unbelief. Makes no sense...but I think the Christians got you...you are reading the Bible, lol.

do you concern yourself with how the world came about? Do you concern yourself with any part of history whatsoever? Whether it be religious history, science or anything that has to do with the study of our world and the people in it, it brings more knowledge. You must agree that just because something is old DOESN'T mean irrelevant. If so, then we need to toss out all the writings of Plato, Socrates, Justinian, all our history books and so forth. So maybe YOU as an individual don't want to concern yourself, but WE as a human race should familiar ourselves with what went on 2000 years ago. Knowledge is not a bad thing, but the choice to agree with what you learn or not is totally up to you.

Wow, sounds like mercy may be basically what you want. might want to a parent not punish a baby for blatently going antagonistic to them? God would nicely be loving yet he's likewise basically and considering he's holy, He won't be able to abide with the help of sin. Is a parent evil for permitting a outcome that a baby benefits? you're completely neglecting the actual incontrovertible truth that God helps the organic outcomes for human judgements. save wondering and asking Him the truth and do not enable all of us sway you from it. study, attempt to coach Him incorrect. seek for and also you'll locate.

I don't know that "should" is necessarily the right word.for it.
I personally love my connections to my ancestors' beliefs and the sense of continuity that comes with that.. FOR ME.. as for what YOU should be concerned with, I think that's up to you.
As for WE in the collective societal genre, we should be CONCERNED with those religions whose tenets are exclusive and who believe their way is the only way.. this is where society should have great concern.

Because they are relevant to our life today. Religious, as "creations" are rather meaningless. It's a personal relationship with God, with Jesus Christ, that is worthwhile. Don't get those mixed up! It's not the same thing! That would be like saying that if you're an American, you're a conservative Republican. Way too much of a generality.

We shouldn't. Hopefully one day much of humanity will evolve past the need for manmade religion to use as a crutch, some of us have already moved forward. Too bad so many are so far behind in their thinking, or lack of comprehension.

Because God doesn't change. He is the same today as he was 2000 years ago.

I don't know.
Because it is funny!
To see how many errors they can come up with?
If you follow that one in the Middle East put on a ski mask and kill any one you like.
If you specialize they will pay you money.
