How do I put my left contact in without it flipping inside out on my finger?

Everytime I try to put in my left contact (only my left) it flips inside out on my finger. Any tips on how to make it stick on your eye?

I hate it when that happens - I have the same problem. I am right-handed. I use the first two fingers on my left hand to hold the eyelids open, and use my right hand to put in the lens. I have the best results when I put a tiny drop of wetting solution in the lens, and the wetting solution seems to make the lens stick to the eye.
