In addition to what has been said before, after a bowel movement avoid toilet paper and clean yourself gently using a non - allergenic baby wipe, for example, Pampers Sensitive. When you shower be careful to avoid highly perfumed products, use either a feminine intimate wash or a product suitable for babies. Dab dry gently and use the Anusol or similar (Lanacane is very good too). Don't use a hydrocortisone for more than 7 days as it thins the skin, see your doctor if the problem persists.

yeah you could get anusol but sometimes piles need removing or 'tying off' surgically if they are very bad/persistent
try the anusol cream first and i would suggest that you eat a high fibre diet...wholemeal bread, plenty of fruit and plenty of water to prevent constipation which only aggravates piles

Firstly go an see your doctor and check that you do have piles.nnThe itchyness could be caused by piles but could also be an indication of an overgrowth of candida. You can get a Withc Hazel preparation for piles that may help.
