No one is destined to be alone. It is the circumstances of their life that puts them in a position where it just does not present an opportunity for them.

Some people choose this lifestyle for themselves, others just make the best of it and hope that someday it will change for them.

I don't think people are destined to be alone. You just have to find the right one to be with that will love you unconditionally. I thought that I had found the right one until a few months ago. But I guess I was wrong. So I am taking a break from men for a while. But I do think there is someone for everyone, eventually.

Being alone sometimes has more to do with how you feel rather than because you are actually on your own.

You could be married with children, or know hundreds of people and yet still feel totally alone.

So yes, I think some people are destined to be alone.

I think there is someone out there for everyone. You need to start by loving yourself, have a possitive attitude and broden your horizens. train yourself not to be too picky. I was once really picky and was single for years. Now i go for the opposite to what i used to and i get dates all the time. Meet as many people and know as many people as you can. And the most important is always look your best even if ur going to the shop for a pint of milk. Coz u never really know what is round the corner! Trust me, it happened to me! i found love in the least expectant place ever!!!!!

I'm starting to think I am! I get on with people well and enjoy spending time with others but I am an introvert through and through. I enjoy nothing more than coming home to an empty quiet house and just relaxing on my own. I'd love to have someone to spend my life with but it seems like it will never happen sometimes. I'm getting used to the idea.

Those people can improve their chances of not being alone, even if they're, by nature, more likely (or "destined") to be alone.

Improving your chances: meeting more people per week. More people = more chance of meeting someone you click with.

I think some people are, because they are unrealistic about what relationships are like.

They want all the moon in june hollywood stuff, but they don't want the hard grind of working hard at a relationship and keeping it going in difficult times.

Also some people are just too needy and difficult and put people off.

I choose to be alone - but in the company of you guys, & my other email friends. I prefer it if people don't come round, as I like my solitude, & this also means stopping to entertain guests.
