The only thing you can do to make her feel better is to sit down with her, and tell her how you feel. Let her know you know she is doing the best she can, and that you love her. You won't be able to see that it makes her feel better, because she is hurting, but it will help her more than you can ever know.

Why dont u tell her u love her and ask her if she would like to go for a walk with u to a local park or lake n spend a few hours with her just talking about things that interest u both that way she will feel more important and part of ur life, even tho ur dad is sick that doesnt give him an excuse to belittle ur mum and upset her she can only do so much. Remember that no one is perfect we all make mistakes and remind ur dad that he fits into this category also n tell him that no matter what ur mum isnt to blame for his illness and u think its time he realised this and stopped treating ur mum as if she was.

Just be there for her and try to get her to open up to you. Keep her talking, sometimes when you talk about everyday things it makes you feel better. Help her out if you can by doing dishes or helping her clean up. Give her your memories and her own back. Talk to her about things that happened in the past that made you all happy. About the good time that have happened. Encourage her that she is doing great and that you love her and are proud of her. That you know it is tough but it only makes us stronger and you all will get through it.
Good luck, I send you my prayers.

Just because some one is sick does not give them a right to yell at or be mean to anyone. Some one needs to tell him this. Tell him your sorry he is sick, but that does not give him the right to yell and be mean.

Just tell her you love her and are praying for her and your father. Let her know that there is a reason for everything and it will all work out in the end. Good luck and God bless!

are you there to help her out, to aleviate some of the stress. it is usually harder on the spouse of an ill one, having to take care of more and be worried about the other person. why don't you take over making dinner or washing the dishes.
