very rude step children. Expect me to give them gifts and they do not give me gifts.

I think the biological parent should step in on this and have a talk with the kids. Also, are they old enough to be conscious about this? I believe you should talk to your spouse about it if u don't wanna talk to them directly about how you feel.

you r are the grown up here ... quit being so childish. you should have never married your partner if you can't get along with the children. i would expect by your tone they have reason to resent u. i hope you step up to the plate with a better attitude and find forgivness; and turn the relationship around to something positive and loving. being a step parent can and should be a very rewarding experience. good luck

Don't stoop to that level. Get them each a gift....kill them with kindness. If your husband does not see the effort and doesn't see how rude they are to you, than it's time to cash in and move on (leave).

Depends on the age. If they're young and immature, you should get them gifts because no matter what, they will appreciate it even if they don't say it. If adults, don't give them anything!!!
