Need clarification of earlier question-which spelling of the Muslim cryer title is correct?

I received two spellings: one is "Muadhin" and the other is "Mu'ezzin' I thought it was 'Mu'ezzin but which would be the correct spelling? Are they the same word, just spelled according to each dialect (as in one is Arabic and one the English version)? I think this may be the case but which would be correct if I were using it in writing?

It is Muadhin, but the dh is pronounced as a 'z'

Theyre both the same word just spelled differently.

The reason being Arabic having three different kinds of 'Z' in its alphabet.

The word muadhin contains the 'Z' sound that sounds like a mixture between 'z' and 'd'.

Some muslims however cannot pronounce it correctly because they do not speak Arabic natively, and so have only one 'z' sound in their language: the one that sounds like 'z'.

So people try to say the same word but only come closer to it.

In english, there are no letters that can stand for the correct 'z' sound however. so youre better off listening to a native arabic speaker and then saying it.

Hey, these two words are the same word, just with a different dialect. If you were to use them in writing, you should use "Muadhin".

Its prononced Mu'adhin. It should be spelled the same way...but people of certien backrounds have trouble saying the dh letter so they spell it with z.
