My dog only comes out when some arrived or when she smells meat cooking... After that she would go back into her bed and sleep till the the for about 5 hours. I always try to do things to get her out of bed but of course she wont.
She is a yorkie, 3yrs ( just turned 3) she is very healthy

Buy the best dogs food and feed according to your dogs weight. DO NOT feed your dog people food. She may be lacking in proper vitamins and minerals. The best thing you can do is take her to a veterinarian for tests. She may have parasites that rob her of her dinner nutrients. She might want to have a doggy playmate so consider getting another Yorkie.

If she is very healthy, mabe your dog has just a lazy personality? Try bribing her with treats! We all like treat!

She is only 3 and needs lots of rest. 5 hours dosent seem like too much sleep?

She could be bored and it may just be her personality. Try taking her for walks and bring treats with if that is what gets her attention. Play ball with her, wrestle on the ground with her, build up her stamina and she'll have the energy she needs to be active. Like our kids, we can let them sit in front of the boob tube with their games or we can get them outside to throw a football or play a game of volleyball to get that blood circulation going!

Get her excited about something! If she likes to chew on tennis balls, go throw some for her. If she's always been like this, it could just be her personality.
