What is not to understand? They have a monopoly on truth based on a book written long ago by men who thought the world was flat and disease is caused by demons. Not only that, they believe it is a violation of their rights if they are denied the opportunity to use the coercive power of the state to shove their superstitious beliefs down every ones throat. We just have to marginalize them, which may mean an all out war against institutionalized stupidity.

yeah i thought that was a funny question being that non believers want to not believe that God could exist a chance. i have thought about that and well i am a christian now. it is easier to believe that God created us all then some type of matter came about then exploded causing other matters and all and causing a perfect earth in the perfect place with the perfect gravity and perfect everything and then life. i mean the earth is in such a perfect spot that if a little bit farther from sun woud freeze and a little closer would be to hot for life. and gravity is just perfect and speed of earth around sun is perfect and everything. an explosion causes caos not order. that is just as insane as saying a car factory if it explodes will make a car.
well to me trinity and triunity sound the same. i believe in monotheism or oneness. that is the father, son and holy ghost are one. that is the father is Jesus the son is Jesus and the holy ghost is Jesus and Jesus is God. trinity is that they are seperate but make up the God head. and if you are saying the son Jesus is the Word i use kjv Bible and that says the Word was God but yet God said there is no other god before him and there will be no other god after him and that he knows of no gods. except idols.

You obviously believe that matter can exist without a beginning, so why can't you believe that god can exist without beginning?
Do you have such an aversion to believing that god CAN exist with cause that you are willing to go out of your way to come up with something else that can exist without cause so you can have a cause for creationists?
It seems like a double standard to me on your part!! Obviously even an atheist believes in something! :)

Can only creationists answer your question?
Things that exist without having a beginning are eternal. They exist within a loop which does not have linear time; ie. no beginning and no end.
As the universe we see is made up of particles and energy; they exist as finite entities. Their properties make them behave according to predictable patterns.
Their properties and patterns lead us to assume how they originated and when.
Energy and matter have not always been located where they are now. Their movement is predictable and points to a place of origen.
As to God; His properties and patterns are not well understood. Our knowledge is limitted to those Truths which He has given for us to understand.
If an ant should conjecture about the existence of Man will you consider the ant to be capable of guessing Man's purposes?
How would you tell the ants about who you are and what your plans are? Particularly if they have begun to make their own bizarre guesses and you wish to help them understand what you truly intend for them?
As to God's location...
God can exist and not have "begun" because He exists outside His creation.
If I make a drawing, it speaks of who I am; but it is not me.
If I sing a song, you can hear me; but it does not mean you know me.
If I kiss your cheek good-night, you feel my presence; but it does not mean you accept my love.

God is different from matter. God existed before time, therefore He existed without beginning, because He was there before the beginning and He created time, so He is outside of it. You atheists, however, cannot believe in anything outside of science and what seems logical, and what you can see and understand, so you cannot believe in something existing without beginning.

The interesting thing is that according to Quantum Mechanics, matter can and does simply "appear" and "disappear" without cause. Watch out for Quantum Singularities...they'll get you every time.

You are so sadly mistaken since God is not matter...he is spirit...not a seen and yet he created all things and needs not explain his existence...that is from a beginning or end perspective...he created us ..and not we who created him...I mean I don't know to many people who look at there father with such disrespect and say to him...WHY Did you create me?? Rather ..just be thankful you are here and alive and well...
God is not a man..he has no matter..attributes..like the air..because he created all things...which have a beginning and end..but he has no beginning and no end ...mortal logic ..cannot perceive his ways...so please ..let go of the logic and grab a hold to faith..without it you can not please him..

God is matter and matter is energy, it can be built up like a pyramid, or broken all the way down to a thought particle, all you need is understanding.

The problem is, YOU can't believe that matter can exist without beginning.
Doesn't science teach you that matter can neither be created nor destroyed???
If that's true, there would need to be a creator of this matter.
God.

Lets look at "Trinity" I myself use the word "Triunity" instead of Trinity, because most see "Trinity" as 3.
For everything in the world created, points to the Triunity, of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost.
Paul says that the invisible things of him we can see in creation, even his eternal power and God-head.
The God-head is where the concept of Trinity or Triunity of God comes from its the 3 in One.
In Creation we have Space, Matter and Time, in "One" Creation.
In Space we have Height, Length and Breath, in "One" Space.
In Matter we have Energy, Motion and Phenomena, in "One" Substance.
In Time we have Past, Present and Future, in "One" Time.
In Man we have Body, Soul and Spirit, in "One" Man.
In Trinity, we have Father, Word and The Holy Spirit, in "One" God.
Its as simple as that. Believe what you want.
