Yes it is. It is the green monster that eliminates any good relationship. Jealousy can and most often ruins any relationship or marriage. Think about why jealousy may exist and look to see if you know the reason it may exist. Most often it is a sign of mistrust on the part of the one who is jealous and it is a sign that the person does not believe anything the other person says no matter how many times they may say it. The insecurity comes because the one who is jealous is not convinced of the trust and committment of the other person.

It is definitely a sign of insecurity... so ask yourself why you feel insecure. This feeling of insecurity can actually be your inner mother warning you that the guy/girl is not the one for you.... but jealousy is a wasted emotion cuz it does NOTHING to the other person while it eats you up inside. Talk to the other person about YOUR feelings of insecurity... what can he or she do to provide a more secure feeling in your relationship? Call more often? Visit? Answer the phone when you call? Find the source of your insecurity and you might find that this is not the one for you at all... or you may find someone who is willing to do more to help you be more secure in the relationship.

It can be a sign of insecurity and it can also be a sign that the jealous one is trying to keep you from finding out that he/she could be cheating on you.

Especially if your partner keeps saying that you are with someone else then it is a sign that the one who is always accusing the other of cheating it only means that the accuser is the cheater.

Yes to a point. If my man and I walk into a club together and we are obviously there together and another woman tries something and I get jealous, to me that's understandable. But if we are talking about past loves or someone who whistles at him or something of that nature there's no reason to be jealous, be proud because everything up to this point has made him who he is today.

for the most part yes....however, a SLIGHT amount of jealousy only shows that the person really loves you and actually cares for your faithfulness.

Yes. True love is not jealous. And someone that is secure in themselves and the relationship TRUSTS the other person.
