Yup. It's going to take about 2-3 weeks to adjust. Hang in there. If you can make it past the next couple of weeks, you'll start to feel great.

Yes, this can be a side effect. I was on Wellbutrin for about a year, but didn't have a significant amount of tiredness when I took it. It will take your body about 4-6 weeks to adjust to the medication. The tiredness should go away after a week or so, I would think.

Hummm.. Might be, might not be. It usually takes anti-depressants a couple weeks to kick in. Here are two things you can do.
Call your doctor and ask her/him;
1. Is this a side effect of the Wellbutrin?
2. Can I take it at night?
If it is making you tired then you could take it at night and get some good sleep.

I have been taking it for about 4 weeks now and all I want to do is sleep ... I am sleepy during the day and I have to force myself to try to make it to at least 830- 9 before I go to bed. I was hoping for increased energy but it seems to be the opposite.

It usually does take about 2 weeks for this medication to take effect but you shouldn't be sleepy. The side effect of this medication is actually the opposite and you'll find it harder to sleep. Try not to take it too late at night.

actually I believe it usually has the opposite effect. If I remember correctly the pharmacist even told me to take it in the morning if I could because it can cause a bit of insomnia to some people. And it does to me if I take it too late in the day.
