Bill's Law of Boys and Girls Back Home: Doomed to fail.

I was an airman once, before I went into dishonest tawdry labor and became a master sergeant.

You won't see your USAF BF in BMT, most likely. The odds of your base liberty overlapping is about the same as Angelina Jolie knocking on my door to offer me a lapdance.

Will you be going to the same tech school or the same permanent party base as USAF BF? Distance makes such relationships difficult, and more often than not Mr Right gets replaced by Mr. Right Here.

Your "sit and wait" guy might be a fun dalliance, but I don't see it working out long term. You're outta there on 30 January.

Short version: USAF BF is doomed to fail, but Civilian Hot Guy is at least someone to hang with until you head off to basic. Normally I'd tell you to break up with USAF BF immediately, but Basic is enough of a morale killer. Save it til he graduates and explain why.

P.S. "I'll wait for you" is one of the great lies of the ages.

OK, 6 1/2 weeks might seem like a long time however it's not . Give the boyfriend a chance. If it's met to be you'll both know and if not, you did say the other man will wait on you so don't be into big of a hurry to try and figure this out. Time is on both of your sides. Please don't give into temptation.

Your going to experience life in a way you've never thought and so is your boyfriend...you're both young don't commit to anything. I guarantee he will be facing the same temptations during this journey. Break it off mutually and go your own ways and enjoy your new career adventure.

Let your boy friend know if you plan to leave him and move on. But do not expect someone that knows you have a bf that just went into the military and you are leaving to to be very faithful.

**** the boyfriend, the guy who is willing to wait for you is the one to be with, he will be there and he will be faithful. You can't be sure of this with your boyfriend in the Army. It will be hard too because if you are both in the Army or whatever he will have plenty of opportunity to get some from someone else. You will too, but I would go with the guy back home.

My first thought was you must not really like this boyfriend if you're interested in someone else. Than I thought, you're about to enter the military and what the heck - enjoy your last few weeks before you report.....

Whatever you choose, just dont cheat on the guy that is your current boyfriend. Once a cheater always a cheater, and no guy wants to date a woman who has cheated before.

From experience don't do it. If you really love this guy and dont want to let him go then dont. And dont do anything that will give him a reason to leave you.
