Oh my gosh am I glad you asked! I was going through the same deal like a month ago! I decided to call him, and that didn't work out so well, hehe. Do not call him save yourself lol
My advice to you, send him an email, say hi you know. Start off smooth

if you like him you have to talk to him. see if hes online first before you call him and just see what hes up to. ask what hes doing for new years and say you guys should hang out sometime. if he likes you he'll agree then tell him to call you.
