If you are sure its not from your mouth. Then its likely its from undigested (rotting) food in your stomach. Stop sleeping immediately after eating and stop cold drinks (even cold milk) with meals. CO2 drinks are a great way to promote indigestion, ever burn anything with CO2 all over it? Your stomach is an internal fire to burn food you consume. Take clarified butter and hot milk to promote proper digestion. This is a small part of the Ancient Ayurvedic way of healing.

For myself , the herbal paste I use removes bad breath that comes from the mouth. incl ulcers, plaque, bleeding gums. Ulcers go off in 3 days or less. It's in limited circulation due to the trouble to make it, let me know if you want to know more.
Well, you are the sufferer, have some welfare for yourself.

Just get a tongue scraper at the drug store and mouth wash.
90% of bad breath is coming from your tongue. Scrape your tongue and see what gunk there is. It works.

Rinse your mouth out with hydrogen peroxide. It kills all the bacteria and whatnot. Also get checked for cavities. They can cause bad breath also.

See your dentist. You could have a gum infection or it could be coming from your stomach. Try a tongue scraper, also.
