My bet is that many Christians will claim that as long as you are worshipping the Christian God you're good. They tend to gloss over the fact that many Christian sects insist that all other Christian sects are at least partly if not entirely wrong about God in one way or another. Quibblings over the Trinity, what traditions God likes or doesn't like, medicines, financial status, personal behavior, and so on.

Some sects believe God forbids all gambling of any kind. Others think he's unconcerned about it. Some sects would have women going around wearing burkas while others prefer them to dress as they wish. Some sects approve of modern medicine while others break out in hives every time something new is discovered.

So will the real Christian God please stand up?

Thought not. Back to reality...

Of COURSE every believer thinks they have the right god...otherwise they wouldn't believe. And it's true; most people can't be 100% certain they've got it right until they die.

Now I can't speak for other gods, but personally I think that God would rather people believed in the wrong God than in no god at all. At least it means that they recognize the glory of his creation and see there's an ultimate power. The Bible also makes a distinction saying that those who worship aspects of God's creation are better than those who worship idols made by their own hands; at least with nature, they are worshiping the reflected image of God.

If youre worshipping the One God that has created everything in existence, has no limit, that cannot be seen or touched or smelled like a physical thing.

Then youre worshipping the right God.

Cause theres only One anyway.

But people are rarely aware of the way they pull God down to their level in order to worship him, so I reckon God will show some mercy when its due to them because they have no idea what theyre doing.

However If youre worshipping a god with limits even if you know there can only be One God, then youre done for.

It is written that God winks at it when people have other gods out of ingnorance. But when the Truth of God is presented by true witnesses and the Holy Spirit, then it is wrong to reject the True God.

And when one realizes who the True God Is, it would be wrong to worship any gods other than the True God.

There is only one Creator. In the beginning Elohim (plural of ELH) created the heavens and the earths. Elohim is the Father Word & Holy Spirit. And these three are one.

Oh yeah- Everyone thinks their god is the right one. But who is to say? I'll make up a god... Rascal the goddess of cats. Now I believe that Rascal is the most powerful god, more powerful than Jesus, Allah, and any other god. That DOES NOT make me right. The truth is nobody say which is the correct god to believe in. As for is it worse to believe in god than to believe in the wrong one... well, I think that it would be worse to believe in the wrong one because it was the WRONG god, but that's just me.

I believe in the God of the Christians because he is simply better and the Bible has proven itself true time and time again.
